Train Release Manager

In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area and will be able to work for a leading global trading platform that knows the importance of surveillance issues. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.

We are looking for a Train Release Manager to work in a project in Porto (hybrid model).

The Train Release Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing release processes through development, test, and production environments. It implied also the coordination of 3 processes: Release Management, Change Management and Incident Management

Release Management activities

• Building, maintaining and enforcing the release reference path (train / hotfix / incident).
• Plan, by application, all the releases and their content that need to be deployed, with details of when and how.
• Build & formalize a step-by-step technical roadmap of releases (BAU / VUL / INC) by product, keeping a close eye on dependencies and ensuring coordination.
• Monitor the content / progress of releases (train / hotfix / incident) by application.
• Monitor the eligibility status at release level ahead of each step.

Change Management activities

• Building and maintaining a request for change and approval process.
• Ensure consistency between releases.
• Coordinate the operational validation of changes in EUA / PROD.
• Check the application of the migration strategy.

Incident Management activities

• Formalize and communicate around the Incident path (from the reproduction to its resolution, ie Production delivery).
• Coordinate the Hot Fix Incidents.
• Monitor the roadmap of the INC Backlog.
• Coordinate the Virtual/Transversal IM team.
• Lesson learnt.

What are we looking for

• More than 3 years of experience;
• Experience in team-management, problem solving and negotiation skills;
• Familiarity with QA and DevOps concepts;
• English fluency (mandatory).
