Systems Engineer

Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements

• Minimum 9 years of experience in similar roles;
• Good knowledge on both Linux and Windows environments;
• Experience with BMC/Control-M or similar scheduling tools;
• Good knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Python and/or PowerShell);
• Working knowledge of automation platforms - CI/CD tools (like Jenkins, XLD/XLR, Ansible, etc.);
• Experience with Infrastructure back-ups;
• Experience with monitoring tools (ideally Zabbix or Grafana);
• Knowledge of LDAP, Firewall, Reverse proxy, Active Directory and Kerberos;
• Knowledge of webserver tools like JBoss, TomCat, Apache or IIS;
• Good networking knowledge.

Other Requirements

• Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory);
• DevOps mindset;
• Knowledge or previous experience working with Agile methodologies is a plus;
• Ability to keep up with a demanding and fast-paced environment;
• Willingness to learn and evolve;
• Good communication skills;
• Be a team player and engage with colleagues in multiple teams to move projects forward.
