SQL Database Administrator

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, that currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a SQL Database Administrator to work in this project in Lisbon (Hybrid).

What are we looking for

• Maintain SQL database operations, manage incidents and changes, and coordinate stakeholders to ensure database availability;
• Analyze and optimize database performance, advising IT teams on queries;
• Contribute to business and technical projects, including architecture definition and version and obsolescence management, while supporting business units;
• Document implemented security, monitoring, backup, and restoration solutions;
• Support the DevOps approach and conduct technology monitoring of database tools and architectures, including Cloud and Big Data, in line with current standards;
• Propose architectures solutions aligned with infrastructure, operations, and security standards;
• The role includes HPO interventions and participation in the weekly on-call rotation system.
