Senior Power BI Developer-PL/SQL (French Speaker)

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer-PL/SQL (French Speaker) to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field;
• More than 9 years of experience;
• Proven experience (3-5 years or more) in Power BI development (Power BI Desktop, Service, Dataflows) and data modeling;
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and significant experience with Oracle databases (or equivalents);
• Strong written and spoken French (francophone), ability to communicate with business users;
• Understanding of data modeling concepts, DAX, M (Power Query);
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT practices and enterprise data sources (ERP, CRM, Financial systems);
• Analytical mindset, rigor, organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously in an agile environment;
• Focus on data quality, governance, and data security;
• Ability to prioritize requests, meet deadlines, and produce clear, well-documented deliverables;
• Optional: Power BI certification (DA-100 or equivalents) or Oracle/PL-SQL certifications;
• Proficiency in French at C1 or C2 level is mandatory.

Technical Skills Desired

• Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service (reports, dashboards, apps, row-level security);
• DAX for measures and calculated columns;
• Power Query (M) for data transformations;
• PL/SQL (SELECT, JOIN, subqueries, predicates, performance tuning);
• Relational databases (Oracle or equivalent);
• SQL and query optimization;
• Understanding of data governance and security concepts (RLS, permissions);
• Orchestration and versioning tools (Git), familiarity with DEV/QA/PROD environments.
