Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.
This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field;
- Experience in data engineering, focusing on big data technologies and frameworks (Hadoop, Spark);
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala;
- Proven experience implementing large scale BI solutions;
- Experience with Big Data and NoSQL Technology (Hadoop, Kafka, Hive, Spark, Nifi, Python);
- Experience implementing best practices within a Data Lake;
- Experience in Machine Learning techniques;
- Experience with cloud technologies is highly valued;
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database solutions;
- Experience with workflow management platforms (e.g., Airflow, Control-M) and collaborative tools (e.g., Jupyter).;
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
- Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory).
