Senior Business Analyst

Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, that currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid) or Lisbon (Hybrid).

Requirements

• Between 6 and 9 years of professional experience;
• Strong capability in end-to-end process analysis and functional design;
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, structured functional specifications and user stories;
• Experience managing and prioritizing a change request backlog in alignment with business expectations;
• Familiarity with application lifecycle management and production support processes;
• Capacity to conduct deep impact analysis, taking legacy systems and dependencies into account;
• Comfortable working with SQL or similar tools for report creation and data extraction;
• Ability to identify and evaluate reporting and analytics tools suited to business needs;
• Good understanding of the end-to-end development process, from business requirements to production deployment;
• Exposure to financial systems or platforms (e.g. payments, asset management, banking core systems) is a plus;
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business, IT, and third-party vendors;
• Ability to adapt communication style depending on the audience (technical vs. non-technical);
• Experience facilitating business user interviews and workshops;
• Comfortable acting as the primary point of contact between development teams and product stakeholders;
• Ability to train and mentor business users and junior analysts on delivered solutions;
• Fluency in English is mandatory;
• Proficiency in French is a plus.
