Senior Application Support Engineer

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Main Technical Requirements

• More than 9 years of experience;
• Good knowledge on both Linux and Windows environments;
• Good knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Python and/or PowerShell);
• Experience with JBoss, TomCat, Apache or IIS;
• Experience with databases (Oracle, MongoDB, SQL Server and/or CouchBase);
• Network security notions (Web based architecture, IHS, Apache, Proxy, Firewall, DMZ/Bastion);
• Infrastructure notions (clustering technologies, SAN, VMWARE based, cloud based);
• Knowledge of DevOps, Continuous Integration Platform (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence, XL Deploy, XL Release…);
• Experience with Sharepoint Platform, Hadoop and Docker;
• Experience with Control-M and Zabbix.

Other Requirements

• Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory);
• Ability to keep up with a demanding and fast-paced environment;
• Willingness to learn and evolve;
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to work in a team.
