QA Engineer

Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, that currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to work in this project in Lisbon or Porto (Hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Strong API Testing Experience: Proven experience in testing RESTful and/or SOAP APIs;
• Testing Techniques: Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, error guessing);
• API and Data Validation: Hands-on experience executing functional tests at the API level (using tools like Postman, or SoapUI to validate responses and status codes) and performing database queries (using DBeaver or similar tools) to verify data integrity.";
• Create test scenarios and test plans;
• Design, execute and maintain manual test cases;
• Report bugs and errors to the development teams;
• Support UAT/E2E activities;
• Participate in estimation test effort and risk identification;
• Review and analyze test results;
• Prepare test status report and issues status report.

Requirements

• Constant communication between different IT teams/squads working in different countries;
• Detail oriented and proactive;
• Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Have a good level of English;
• Knowledge in Test Automation tools.

Preferred

• Experience with JIRA-XRAY (good to know).
