Neurologist wanted for a public hospital in Trøndelag, Norway

On behalf of a public hospital in Trøndelag, central Norway, we are recruiting a neurologist for a full-time, permanent position.
You will join a well-established neurology department serving a population of approximately 140,000 people. The department is located within the hospital and includes an inpatient ward, outpatient clinic and neurophysiology lab. The team collaborates closely with a university hospital and other specialist units in the region.

Your responsibilities will include:

Inpatient and outpatient care
Participation in the on-call rota
Supervision and mentoring of residents and medical students
Participation in clinical research
Procedures such as lumbar puncture, carotid ultrasound, ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin injections, and follow-up of patients with deep brain stimulation (DBS)
Qualifications:

Authorization to practice as a medical doctor within the EU/EEA
Specialist certification in neurology from an EU/EEA country
Preferably experience with carotid ultrasound, neurotoxin therapy, and research
Good communication skills in English and willingness to learn Norwegian (language training provided)
