Dellent is a Portuguese consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, focused mainly on IT and Telecommunication services, and we are hiring an experienced Java Software Engineer for a long term contract role in Lisbon.
This job requires a broad knowledge of software engineering practices and design patterns with focus on Java development. The main challenge is to analyze the requirements and features from our Product Management, have a depth understanding about what is being required and solve the problem from software engineering perspective. You will be also debugging the existing versions and propose enhancements taking into account the cost/benefit relation.
Requirements
-MSc / BS degrees in Computer Science or related fields;
-More than 3 years of experience in Java software development;
-Experience with git and maven is valued;
-Experience and knowledge of Object Oriented concepts, data structures and multi-threading;
-Experience in Java (JDK8 is valued) or any JVM related language;
-Knowledge or experience with Spring, Kafka, docker or Akka is valued;
-Database concepts and SQL (we use Oracle);
-General UNIX, and/or Windows knowledge is expected;
-Fluent English language, spoken and written.
