Database Developer

In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.

We are seeking a Database Developer to join our team in Porto (hybrid).

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• 5+ years of database development with significant MS SQL Server Experience;
• Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL code, design stored procedures, create functions, tables, views, triggers, and indexes;
• Experience with ETL processing and ETL tools like SSIS;
• Any experience in data migration between different generations of an online product;
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server 2016 or later;
• Thorough understanding of database structures, theories, principles, & best practices;
• Technical knowledge of MS SQL Server internals with emphasis on query performance;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Enthusiastic, self-driven, willing to go the extra mile and work at own initiative;
• Ability to work under pressure, to work independently as well as to be a team player, particularly across different sites and time zones;
• English: B2
