Data Engineer (French Speaker)

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Data Engineer (French Speaker) to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements

• Higher education degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field;
• Significant experience (minimum 6 years) as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or in a similar role;
• In-depth mastery of a major ETL tool, with PowerCenter being a strong asset. Experience with other ETL tools will be a plus;
• Excellent proficiency in PL/SQL for developing and optimizing queries and scripts (Oracle is strongly recommended);
• Solid knowledge of data modeling (relational, dimensional) and data warehouse design;
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle);
• Experience with Power BI for creating reports and dashboards (optional);
• Fluent French (C2 level required), both written and spoken;
• Autonomy, rigor, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities;
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively;
• Proficiency in English is a plus.
