Project Description:
The project involves creation of a middle layer using RESTful web services which comprises of the business rules, and acts as gateway for backend database interaction.
The development is being done using agile methodology and the functionality is modularized into several sprints. Daily scrums and bug scrubs are a common for status reporting.
Functions and Responsibilities:
- Development of intermediate (Middle) layer comprising of business rules and features that interact with backend database;
- Writing JUnit test cases, preferably using TDD or BDD Testing frameworks to unit test the features developed;
- This layer interacts with database and other interfaces, which involves thorough coordination with different function groups;
- Analyze, debug and rectify issues arising out of QA observations or otherwise;
- Participate in daily scrums, cater to other documentation needs in following an agile methodology.
Required Skills:
- Java J2EE;
- Very Strong Core Java;
- Strong fundamentals and clarity of REST web services;
- Working experience on any Messaging platform like JMS;
- Strong written and verbal communications skills;
- Solid understanding of all phases of the Software Development and test Life Cycle.
