Application Support Engineer (French Speaker)

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Application Support Engineer (French Speaker) to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements

• More than 9 years of experience in a similar role;
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in application support, preferably within the banking or financial services sector;
• Proficiency in French (C1) is required;
• Additional languages are a plus;
• Strong knowledge of ticketing tools, particularly Jira and ServiceNow;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
• Familiarity with banking applications and systems is highly desirable;
• ITIL certification or similar framework knowledge;
• Experience with scripting or automation tools;
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
