Application Maintenance Engineer (DevOps Junior)

Here you will work in the development of high-tech systems integration services in areas such as digital transformation and network automation for different sectors of activity, but in particular for telecommunications.

We are looking for an Application Maintenance Engineer (DevOps Junior) for a long term role in this project in Lisbon or Porto (flexible hybrid).

As a part of your job, you will

• Implement custom configurations based on Line of Business (LoB) requirements;
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to team deliveries and business applications;
• Troubleshoot and debug flows related to WCC, PCRME, and Order Management (OM+);
• Analyze logs to identify and document root causes of incidents;
• Maintain and troubleshoot integrations across systems (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines);
• Resolve technical issues affecting key components such as OM+, Web Center Contact, and PCRME;
• Support development or maintenance of specific automation or tooling scripts;
• Validate configuration changes and participate in production deployments;
• Provide detailed RCA documentation to prevent future incidents;
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and contribute to the team knowledge base.

What are we looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field;
• 1-2 years of experience in application support, scripting, or configuration roles;
• Experience working with enterprise systems or within a support engineering team;
• Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams, and client needs;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Pipelines).
