In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area and will be able to work for a leading global trading platform that knows the importance of surveillance issues. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.
The job consists in prioritizing and progressing resolution of faults or queries on the full range of systems across all clients, suggesting methods to build and implement measurable improvements to the services, undertaking project work and the implementation of change by performing a QA after any work.
We are looking for a Service Operations Analyst for a long term role in this hybrid project in Porto (Hybrid).
Profile and Skills
- Degree, CET or equivalent in a computer related subject;
-Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
-Excellent interpersonal skills;
-An affinity with: O/S – Windows, Linux and/or Solaris; Database – MS SQL/Oracle; Monitoring Systems -Nagios; Network -Juniper/Cisco; Security – TCP/IP, TCPdump, Nessus, Snort;
-Fluency in English.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of financial markets;
- Knowledge of Equities and Derivatives financial instruments (e.g. Futures, Options/Warrants);
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and processes. Scripting language (Shell/Perl/PHP/Python).
