We are seeking a IT Team Lead to join our team in Porto (hybrid model).
In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.
We’re looking for someone with:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
-5+ years hands-on experience in Java development with expertise in the latest editions, including Spring Boot and 2+ years managing small software teams;
-Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, IaC, deployment patterns, and code quality tools;
-Extensive knowledge of AWS, Micro services architecture, design patterns, and proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes;
-Solid grasp of security best practices related to APIs and data privacy;
-Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a commitment to driving Agile practices within the team;
-Keen on staying current with industry trends, tech advancements, and best practices to enhance the team's workflow;
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
-Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges;
-Experience in frontend technologies like React.js or Angular is a strong plus;
-Domain Knowledge of EU Market Abuse Regulation and EU Whistleblowing Directive is a Plus.
