We are looking for a Data Governance to work in this project in Lisbon or Porto (hybrid).
Your key responsibilities
Translate the strategic objectives of an organization into actionable goals related to data strategy, management, and utilization, with a particular focus on the Financial Services sector and BCBS 239 compliance, as well as other relevant regulations;
Understand business needs and convert them into data-related functionalities;
Define and implement data governance models, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience;
Develop and implement policies, processes, and procedures for data management and governance;
Stay updated on best practices for Data Governance;
Communicate effectively with team members and client personnel at various levels as required.
Skills and attributes for success
Knowledge and/or experience with data governance tools such as Informatica, Microsoft Purview, Collibra, among others;

To qualify for the role, you must have
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, physics, business administration, economics, or a related discipline;
Over 2 years of professional experience in Consulting;
More than 2 years of experience working on Data and technology-related projects, specifically as a Data Governance/Management/Strategy consultant;
A strong motivation to achieve professional excellence;
A dedicated, innovative, and resourceful mindset, with strong analytical skills and the ability to perform well under pressure;
The capability to promote an efficient, innovative, and collaborative team environment;
Proficiency in English;
Ideally, you’ll also have
Proven experience in analysing and documenting business processes;
Proficiency in using tools like Jira and Confluence;
Hands-on experience in Data & Analytics projects, including designing data models and mapping data flows;
Strong business writing skills;
Familiarity with frameworks such as DAMA, CMMI DMM, and PMBOK;
Experience working with Agile methodologies;
Ability to articulate complex concepts across all levels of technical and business audiences;
Good communication skills.
