WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE?:
5-10 years in Compliance, Transaction Monitoring, or Due Diligence work.
Strong Knowledge of EU regulatory law and other Western countries (e.g. Western America)
Previous Experience as a Compliance Operations Manager with a bank or regulated financial institution is an important plus to maximize alignment with Clients or had been an MLRO (not mandatory)
Good communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
Soft skills: Proactiveness, strong ownership of work
ACAMS Certification, ICA Certification (Desireable)
Degree in Law, Accounting, Finance or another related field.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Implement action plans to improve service delivery performance and exceed client’s expectations (KPI’s)
Taking preventive measures that might affect the team/companys performance by closely monitoring performance and trends (attrition risk) all across the company and market.
Close collaboration with other departments (internal and with the client) to ensure the quality standards are implemented and improved as needed.
Be a point of contact for subject matter escalations and provide guidance in actively promoting Payreto staff skills.Participate in lead, technology, and vendor discussions by acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) dealing with Payreto client’s Compliance Officers, MLROs or Heads of AML Compliance/Head of AML Operations
