Important company in the financial sector (Leasing y Factoring) is looking for a Senior Credit Analysts for the office in Portugal (Lisbon).
The main roles and responsibilities are:
• Takes independently decisions on credit applications according to established underwriting standards
• Prepares credit and risk sections of end-user applications and vendor applications / vendor reviews and advise credit committees on decision-making and using Central Rating Engine to calculate Risk Rating
• Assigns correct Probability of Default (PD) to applications using appropriate rating tool and entering correct data in compliance with Corporate PD-policy.
• Checks credit and vendor lines and follow up validity of credit limits
• Transfers knowledge to local Sales by participating in departmental meetings, advising on structuring applications etc
• Co-ordinates and monitors the credit process especially towards (local) sales departments.
Requirements:
• Relevant education to a minimum of a bachelor degree
• More than 6 years of experience in the field of credit/ risk with own credit authorities
• Excellent skills in financial analysis, especially cash flow analysis
• Excellent knowledge of customer and service oriented working
• Fluent speaking and writing in English
