We are hiring a Junior Platform Engineer (DevOps) for this international transportation project in Oeiras (Hybrid).
Description:
- Implement, install, operate and maintain systems hardware, software applications and Information Technology infrastructure;
- Manage project deployment life cycle and oversee live implementation;
- Evaluate product requirements to develop total systems solutions within project timelines and cost constraints;
- Design scalable and performant solutions;
- Oversee the testing and monitoring of applications and systems performance;
- Provide assistance with systems planning, business information analysis and process improvement initiatives;
- Support resolution of systems issues;
- Provide regular reports auditing our current services and latest changes, as well as our internal practices.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience of software development;
- Solid experience with Git and Linux;
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub;
- Experience with automation/configuration management using either Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform;
- Experience with monitoring tools;
- Experience with a variety of software and hardware operating environments for virtualization and containers (Docker, Kubernetes/Openshift, Clouds (AWS and/or Azure);
- Understanding and efficiency in collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders;
- Professional English proficiency (written and spoken)
